Prayer for Peace

Lord Jesus Christ, who are called the Prince of
Peace, who are yourself our peace and
reconciliation, who so often said, "Peace to
you", grant us peace. Make all men and women
witnesses of truth, justice and brotherly love.
Banish from their hearts whatever might endanger
peace. Enlighten our rulers that they may
guarentee and defend the great gift of peace. May
all people on the earth become as brothers and
sisters. May longed-for peace blossom forth and
reign always over us all.

STEWARDS OF OUR FUTURE
St. Ursula Parish Prayer
O God, Trusting in You, we have begun a journey of Faith and Hope.
We, Your people, are setting out on a great and wonderful task:
we wish to renew and enhance our places of worship,
of teaching and learning, and of meeting and supporting.
These have been a blessing to us at St. Ursula.
We need Your gift of wisdom to guide us;
the gift of trust in the generous spirit of our brothers and sisters;
the gift of persevering hope that makes us rely not on our own strength,
but on Your Grace at work in our lives.
We ask You to bless our efforts as we offer resources so that the results
will bring honor to You and will truly serve all of your people.
Inspired by St. Ursula's gift of her own life,
we pray this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
