INTENTION CARDS -- COMING IN! -- Really, it is a personal reminder for yourself when you complete the Sunday Offering Intention Card and bring or send it in. It is a way saying, "Yes, I understand this is my parish and this is what I intend to do this year." We already have well over 200 hundred cards in as we begin our fiscal year. (That is certainly more than a couple of handsfull)! -- Look for your card and envelope with the green print.

SCHOOL BUILDING UPDATE -- As many saw last week -- the mobile units are gone! -- as well as the equipment that went with them; the rented railing and stairs, the utility poles, the extra meters for electric and water -- as if they were never there. Hope someone saved some pictures. (The township permit allowed for the mobile units to stay until a month following the last day of school. On that very day, they were transported away)!

INSIDE?? -- All continues to go well on all floors. Base trim in the classrooms is installed. The major areas covered by the new fire alarm system are complete.

New Stove and new oven were delivered and the kitchen is close to completion. Wires are still being pulled for the new two-way PA System. Some serious work is still to be done on the two ground floor restrooms. Quite a bit of painting on lockers, shelves, and third floor walls is continuing thanks to volunteers and our-man Tom Saunders.

Major spots calling for repair are the upper school parking lot and some places just behind the church and school. The paving company has been alerted. For now, no parking on these spots.

The Jones Company has promised an "All Done" by August 15. We are telling them that we know it will be August 1st. We shall see! Either way it will be O.K.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN -- MAKING HEADWAY -- It is Summer but as personal contacts are made, many favorable responses have come in -- in two ways. Some are finishing some smaller amounts remaining from the earlier pledges. Others are making new or first-time pledges as they hear the drive explained. At this point, we are just beginning. Further aspects of the campaign are being readied, such as opportunitites for information, also for recognition.
